DUKE OF ITTIHAD HOUSE

 For some reason our cats love to pick the special dates for the delivery of their kittens. 

This time we were expecting kittens to be born in first week of January… However, Duke and his siblings chose another date and come to this world on 25th December 2020.

Duke was the second out of five born kittens. ( 2 males & 3 females) From the second weeks the characters of the kittens start to appear. 

Duke was very active and smart kitten. He likes to observe a lot. He also loved to play with elder cats more than with kittens of his age. 

Every kitten has his own favorite place to sleep or to sit on.Forsome kittens it was cat tree, cat bed, carpet etc, for Duke it was always “human sofa” with the view to the other kittens. It was always important for him to sit higher than others.Since he was smallhe would come and ”ask” to lift him up so he can sit on the sofa. If he was ignored by the breeder he would go and ”ask for help” elder cat Eve and she will take him to the sofa. 

Duke always used to get what he wants…Once he saw that elder cats in the other room drinking water from cat water fountain, Duke went to his normal water bowl and started to splash water in it, till we brought for him his own water fountain.

One more thing about Duke. He was our little Hero. No matter how many times he would see the vet, no matter how many times he had to get injection, he would never scream or cry in front of the vet.

Only once we leave the vet, he will ask to sit on the front sit on the laps and would watch the road till he fell asleep purring, as a sign of feeling relaxed and content.
